New YouTube Channel Coming!

For years, I’ve been flirting with the idea of creating a YouTube Channel in order to extend the conversations on this blog, to a new platform. The main thing that’s been keeping me from doing it is my crippling shyness, social anxiety and impostor syndrome (which I have discussed in the blog I posted October 2019, you can read it here

“Social anxiety is the fear of being judged and evaluated negatively by other people, leading to feelings of inadequacy, inferiority, self-consciousness, embarrassment, humiliation, and depression.”

Recently, however, I’ve mustered up the courage to finally create a YouTube Channel because I think the conversations I want to have, are more important than my insecurities. The channel will focus on the topics discussed on this blog but with a different spin… it will feature more interviews and discussions than anything else. So, it won’t be long monologues from me. I plan for it to be interactive and feature, more than anything, honest, wholesome discussions.

I will keep this blog because I still think it’s relevant and it’s a good platform documenting the discussions on YouTube but also, having different conversations and providing a platform for shorter thoughts and poetry.

Thank you for following this blog and I hope to interact with you on YouTube as well so please subscribe and turn your notifications on. The first video will be up next weekend. Here’s to new beginnings.
